Staying near Mid-City Motel means you're just a hop away from some great munch spots! Room-wise, it was cool to walk into an air-conditioned oasis after a hot day. Plus, Michelle at check-in was a total gem, making my intro to the joint super welcoming.
That said, stumbling upon a cockroach just inside my door was alarming! The place had a bit of a chaotic buzz outside and some outdated furniture. The air conditioning could use a boost too.

I enjoyed my stay, especially the clean and comfortable space with great air conditioning. The fridge worked perfectly for freezing my ice packs, but the Wi-Fi was a bit weak in my room. I'd consider coming back!

I stayed for 2 nights in a Beautiful Double Room. The air conditioner worked great, and the water pressure in the shower was awesome. The room was quite large and clean. 😊

The bathroom shower had great water pressure.
Upon arrival, the outside of the motel looked unkempt with trash everywhere. My room had noticeable damage, including a broken door and outdated furniture that made me feel uncomfortable. To make matters worse, I encountered various loud noises throughout the night that disrupted my sleep. My overall experience left much to be desired.

8/10
The air conditioning was a real lifesaver in that heat, kept our room nice and cool. The folks there were friendly as could be, makin’ us feel right at home. Only downside was the noise outside makin’ it a bit hard to sleep at night. That kind of took away from the comfort a bit.

Mid-City Motel in Sault Ste. Marie had some charm despite its rough edges. The air conditioning worked well, keeping the room comfortable in the warm weather. The overall size of the room provided plenty of space to move around, which was nice. However, I encountered several issues that affected my stay. The décor felt stuck in the 1950s, with some furniture showing evident signs of wear and tear. Multiple light fixtures and outlets were out of order, making it challenging to find adequate lighting. The bathroom needed attention. the shower head appeared outdated, and the bathroom floor tiles were in disrepair. I was also disturbed by noise from outside, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Overall, it was a decent place if you’re looking for something bare-bones, but improvements are definitely needed to elevate the experience.

It was just a fitting option for a couple of nights in Sault Ste. Marie with extraordinarily good value for money. I appreciated the soft pillows while trying to get some sleep on the hard mattress. Keep an eye out for good online deals to save even more.

Good spot for exploring!
The room had a cozy vibe and was pretty spacious, perfect after a day out. Air conditioning did the trick in the heat, and I loved being just a quick stroll from local eateries. Although the mattress was super firm and could've used a bit more softness, the friendly staff made up for it.
